Q: Is the SATURATED FAT in coconut bad for you?

​​No! Not all saturated fat is bad for you.  In fact, the saturated fat in coconut actually has many amazing health benefits.  Not all saturated fats are created equal. Coconut meat and coconut oil contain “good saturated fats” and have a completely different biochemical makeup than the saturated fats found in animal foods this is because it contains Medium Chain Fatty acids, which do not store in the body as fat.
